Well, friends, I'm not going to lie. The reason I haven't updated since LAST YEAR is not because we have been super busy... it's because I have been super slack! I'll spare you a long update from the past month and just stick to the present :)
I have been really busy getting things ready for both boys' birthday parties this year. Now that Kaden is older and has his little set of friends we aren't going to make him and Noah share a party. He is really excited about having a party with his friends, so it's totally worth it to me. I still can't believe that Kaden will be 4 and Noah will be 2! I don't have babies anymore! They are both such a joy (most of the time :) and I love watching all the developments they make and making lots of fun memories.
Last night we got to the opportunity to go to the opening night of the circus at the Colonial Life Arena, and we had a great time! We took the boys to eat at Chick-Fil-A downtown which was a treat for Kaden because he loves downtown Columbia and all the "tall buildings!" We got to the arena with enough time to spend a fortune on little light-up toys and to see some of the pre-show. I usually like to spend the big bucks on seats in the first couple of rows but decided to go with the "cheap seats" this year, and I am so glad I did! We were literally two rows behind all the expensive seats and could see everything! The boys were pretty much mesmerized the entire show and loved all the animals, acrobats, and the clowns! When I went to check in on Kaden during naptime today, I found that he had stacked his Little Tikes drum on top of the big bucket we keep his toys in and was jumping off of that onto his little trampoline - I kid you not! I think we have a future circus act in the family- yikes!
Again, I apologize for taking so long to update. This month ought to bring you lots of updates because, like I said, we have TWO birthdays to celebrate! Ya'll take care and enjoy the pictures!
Kaden appeasing me with a half smile :)
Noah's new thing is his "big smile." He will walk right up to you and just grin (even if you aren't taking a picture)!
The poor circus elephant :( I am by no means a tree-hugger or anything, but I felt so bad for these animals!
Mama and her boys :)
