Jack is home (and I'm 32 weeks)!!

Things around here just never slow down! On Sunday, we finally got to bring our toy poodle, Jack, home with us. We've had him for almost 3 years, but he's been staying at my parents' house for the last six months while we construct a fence here at our new home. Kaden is absolutely thrilled to have him here! He is constantly hugging him, and he loves to walk him around with the leash. Kaden was never too crazy about Jack before, but I guess since he's bigger than Jack now he likes him. The other day I woke up at 5 a.m. and saw that Kaden had come into our bedroom and was lying on the floor next to where Jack was sleeping. It was absolutely precious! Of course, my camera was downstairs, so I didn't get any pictures. I was really worried about the adjustment to a dog in the house again, but everything has gone smoothly. Let's hope it goes that way when we bring a new baby home!
I went to the doctor Tuesday for the first of many biophysical profiles. Basically, I'll be going into the doctor every week for an ultrasound so we can measure Noah's growth and make sure everything is going according to plan. As of now, the baby looks great. He is around 4 pounds 6 ounces which is really closer to the measurements of a baby at 34 weeks. I've been having lots of issues with my blood sugars and insulin resistance (oh the joy of being diabetic and pregnant!), so that explains why Noah is slightly larger than he should be. The nurse said that at this rate, we are looking at Noah being between 7 1/2 and 8 pounds which isn't huge. We got another 4D ultrasound, so we were able to get a better look at what he actually looks like. Right now, he has a full head of hair! Also, looking at the ultrasound pictures, it looks like Noah's nose is going to be more like Patrick's than mine. I am going to put the ultrasound photos on here, so hopefully you will be able to make out his face and his arm! Keep checking back because I'm going to try to update every week after my doctor visits!
