Kaden's third birthday has come and gone, and he had a fun time celebrating in several different ways! His celebration started the Thursday prior to this birthday when I took cupcakes and juice boxes to his preschool class. It was so much fun to get to go and see him interacting with his little friends (and getting to see these other little people I hear so much about)! I wish you could've seen Kaden's face and his excitement over having me and Noah in his classroom. When I got home and really had time to think about his reaction to having us there, I almost cried! I know a day will come when he will not be very enthusiastic about seeing me in public or at school, so I am going to enjoy those huge smiles and big hugs while he's giving them out freely!
On Saturday, his actual birthday, we took him back to Monkey Joes as a special birthday treat. He has been talking about going back there ever since Noah's birthday, so we knew it would be something he'd enjoy. Once again, he had a fantastic time. Sadly I didn't get any pictures while we were there because the place was a ZOO... there were four birthday parties going on, not to mention the other families that were there just like we were. After about two hours of playtime we went to get some lunch and then went home a crashed for naps.
Later that afternoon Kaden got up from his nap and got his birthday present! Patrick, Noah, and I got him a little trampoline to play with in the house. He loves it! I'm hoping it will help him jump out some of that energy he has in mass quantities! Kaden had a great birthday, and we are so thankful that we have had these three years with him in our lives. We look forward to all the time we get to spend with him from here on out :)
Noah wanted in on the action, too!
